In September 2025, two QTJ4-25 and QTJ4-40 brick machines, equipped with advanced Chinese technology, were officially shipped from China to Nigeria.
As key equipment for building materials production, these two exported brick machines combine high production capacity and stable performance, meeting the demand for high-quality bricks in local Nigerian infrastructure projects such as housing construction and road infrastructure. They provide equipment support for the upgrading of the building materials industry and the improvement of infrastructure, further deepening China-Nigeria cooperation in equipment manufacturing.
In terms of market demand in Nigeria, the country has been accelerating urbanization in recent years. Housing shortages and aging infrastructure, such as roads, have become increasingly prominent, leading to a continued rise in demand for high-quality bricks and other building materials.
According to local building materials industry data, Nigeria has an annual brick shortage of tens of millions. Traditional manual brick-making equipment, with its low production capacity and inconsistent product quality, is no longer able to meet market demand. The introduction of China's QTJ series brick machines will effectively fill the gap in efficient brick-making equipment in the region, helping local brickmakers double their production capacity and alleviate pressure on building materials supply.
